SVG Format
[edit]The article says "Inkscape's primary format is SVG 1.1" but this is incorrect. Previous versions of Inkscape were based on the unpublished SVG 1.2, specifically the support for text blocks unsupported in any other svg viewer or editor. Later versions of Inkscape are based on the unpublished SVG 2.0, specifically hatches, mesh gradients and text paths and text blocks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Doctormo (talk • contribs) 23:08, 25 March 2024 (UTC)
Gallery
[edit]I think the gallery section should showing (at least) Inkscape screenshot, not vector image created with this software. --Hidayatsrf (talk) 06:46, 12 June 2021 (UTC)
- I believe that it is useful to see what kind of use cases Inkscape can fulfill. It is somewhat complementary to features section – K4rolB (talk) 09:43, 12 June 2021 (UTC)

size of user base
[edit]the intro says, quote " widely used for both artistic and technical illustrations " but offers no data to support what "widely" means I was unable to find any decent hits on google — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:197:d00:3ca0:b43c:e76b:7aa9:713b (talk) 16:05, 26 May 2024 (UTC)
Add a table to list each version of Inkscape and which operating system and processor it supports
[edit]Many wikipedia software pages show what version of the application runs on what version of each operating system and architecture. This page does have a table of versions but it only shows new features. It would be really useful to add the operating systems and architectures are supported, either to this table or in a separate table (ideally the latter).
